The West Georgia Prevention & Advocacy Resource Center, Inc. (PARC) is pleased to announce our newest program, Project Resilience. With the theme of “Promoting a Healthy & Resilient Carroll County,” our goal is to have everyone willing to participate in this effort to promote our community’s health and safety.

As a first step, we want to gather the thoughts of all people above 18 who live or work in Carroll County. We, along with our partners at the Carroll County Child Advocacy Center, Carroll County Mental Health Advocates, Carroll County Family Connections, and the West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter, are inviting you to share your thoughts by taking part in a 10-minute survey. This survey asks for your opinions and experiences with the resources, services, and programs we consume daily.

We will use your thoughts to direct the efforts of the Project Resilience Taskforce to identify community-level strategies that support community health and safety by reducing sexual violence. In the coming weeks, we will also invite the community to participate in focus groups to discuss these opportunities in more detail.

Each person can also enter a drawing for 10 $50.00 Visa gift cards as a thank you for participating. Please know that any identifying information such as email address or contact information will be kept confidential and used only to notify the winners of the drawings.

If you are interested in taking part in the task force or learning more about the project, please contact us via email at info@wgaparc.org or call us at our business line at 770-834-8905.
